Director of Marketing

Consilium Resources, LLC is seeking a full-time Director of Marketing to lead the overall marketing operation for this start up company. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in direct sales of technology consulting and client and strategic partner management.

The director will:

• Work with senior management to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for the companies target markets

• Initially be the primary conductor of the sales activities and marketing direction

• Develop and execute an actionable marketing and sales plan.

• Possess strong, proven collaborative leadership, team building, and business management skills

• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to leverage strong personal contacts and consultative sales contacts

• Have the experience and ability to develop a strong start-up business model, develop company identity, and build market share

• Provide evidence of proven experience and success with the consultative sales process, selling solutions that compel customers to buy


Other activities include:

• Prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunities

• Developing and implementing a repeatable sales process

• Proposal development and submission

• Updating and refining marketing and sales strategies

• Managing the sales pipeline, compensation strategy, and forecasting to achieve continuous profitable sales growth

• Contributing to business plan and revenue targets;

• Hiring, training and managing a sales and marketing team


• The position reports directly to the President.


Education Required: B.A. in marketing or a related field


Experience Required: 5+ Years Experience with recent experience in consulting sales.


This position is 100% commission -- based on very competitive percentages, sales target and performance based bonuses.
